MASONIC Charity corporation

The First Westchester-Putnam Masonic Charity Corporation (MCC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is the primary charitable organization affiliated with the First Westchester Putnam District. The MCC cares for district members and their families, in addition to people with no connection with the Masonic Fraternity. The MCC works with local Masonic Lodges to help distribute funds to local charitable organizations. In recent years contributions supported the United Food for Troops, Hillside Food Outreach, Masonic Student Assistance Training (MSAT) and My Sister’s Place.

PLACING A REQUEST FOR CHARITY: Any and all requests for charity funds should be placed before the Masonic Lodge Charity Committee using the MCC Community Charity Form or written on Lodge letterhead with Lodge seal so that further light may be placed upon the request before funds are disbursed.

District Fellowship Association

The District Fellowship Association meets on alternating months, at different Lodges throughout the District. The months of DFA meetings are; October, December, February, April and our final meeting, our District Awards Dinner in June.

The primary goals of the DFA are to promote education, organize non-charity District Events, and promote Brotherhood within the District. By bringing Brothers together, outside of the Lodge room, we enhance the true spirit of Masonry, Brotherly Love.

DFA organizes the District Awards Dinner, District picnic, and other events throughout the year. The sole focus of these events is you, my Brothers. The events organized by the DFA are to bring each other, and more importantly our families, together to strengthen our Masonic bonds.

The principal officers of each of our District’s Lodges also utilize the MWB meetings to coordinate all the events within our own Lodges, to avoid scheduling conflicts, and ensure that we can provide optimal support for all our Lodge’s events. By “packing the house” for Degrees, District Deputy visits, etc… we share in the joys these events bring.
